You ran your
fingers over my past.
and felt the frayed
edges of my heart.
Your eyes lingered
over my flaws
and you still were
able to see underneath.
And you saw me.
You saw more
than the girl
hiding behind humor
and sarcasm.
You acknowledged
and accepted me
for everything I
was trying to hide.
And you loved me.
And I loved you.
Such a rare kind of love. I’ll say this, though. If something doesn’t work out, I fully believe it isn’t meant to be, and better will come along.
Beautiful writing, as always, Hal! 💕

It’s your time to shine…behind the pain in your big & beautiful eyes…it’s not the weakness, it’s the strength of your heart…to picture frame your vulnerable side…humour & sarcasm are sort of important to ease the things – to survive…but you’re showing more of real you…the love, that’s burning in your beautiful heart…it will for sure bring you closer to the love of your life…deeply touched by your writings that you jot from your loving heart ❤️
